Designed with intent. Printed with precision.

Process

Material meets mathematics.

A transparent look at how we go from idea to object — the old-fashioned way, with modern tools.

Ornate bookend — concept phase
Terracotta vase — material selection
Cage lamp — production finished
01

Concept & Sketch

Every object begins as a hand-drawn sketch. We explore proportion, weight, and light before a single digital model is opened. The paper sketch is an act of commitment.

02

3D Modelling

Sketches translate into precise parametric models. We use generative design algorithms where suitable — letting mathematics guide form the way natural forces shape bone or coral.

03

Material Selection

We exclusively use recycled PLA and PET-G filament, sourced from certified suppliers. Colour is chosen last, as a final editorial decision — not a starting point.

04

Print Calibration

Each design goes through a calibration print to check layer bonding, overhang integrity, and surface quality. We do not mass-produce; every batch is a small edition.

05

Post-Processing

Print lines are our signature, so we do not sand them away. We lightly post-cure the surface for structural integrity and wipe with a UV-inhibiting matte finish.

06

Quality Review

Every object is held, rotated in daylight, and checked against the original model before despatch. If it does not feel right, it does not ship.

Arc Lamp I — the result of our process

We believe making things slowly is an act of respect.

For the material. For the buyer. For the space the object will inhabit long after the transaction is forgotten.
